MINERS BANK HOLDS NO SHAVE CAMPAIGN
Beginning on January 1, 2013, the male employees and customers of Miners Bank will participate in a No Shave Campaign. The campaign will raise awareness and funds to benefit the American Cancer Society and Prostate Cancer Research.
The American Cancer Society reports that other than skin cancer, prostate cancer is the most common cancer in American men. Prostate cancer can be a serious disease, but most men diagnosed with prostate cancer do not die from it. More than 2.5 million men in the United States who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer at some point are still alive today.
The male employees and customers of Miners Bank will make a donation and let their facial hair grow throughout the month of January. And, Miners Bank is matching 100% of donations!
“We are very pleased to hold the No Shave Campaign and encourage all male employees and customers to participate. Those interested in learning about Prostate Cancer or participating in the Miners Bank No Shave Campaign may visit any of one of our branch locations ,” said George H. Groves, President and Chief Executive Officer.
